Today and tomorrow former NFL greats from the Giants and the Jets are having an event for children in Central Park...and they aren't even giving away free NFL picks :0) (I am sure that if this was the case, the park would be full of crazy football fans). They will be teaching children how to play football and how to stay healthy, active, and happy. It is open to the public and the children will also be participating in character building activities. There will be free giveaways and the NFL players will be encouraging the 1,000 children to get at least 60 minutes of activity a day.

I think this is a great idea! Those kids really look up to sports stars and will take what they teach them seriously. Maybe now more children will be excited to get outside, play, and be kids!
